Q: What could you do with the money you save on one pack a day?
A: Your first year, you could take an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii!! (Oh, and by the way, your sessions for NLP/Hypnosis would be covered too.)
Q: Why do you want to quit smoking?
A: See facts about smoking cigarettes below.
Are you Ready to Quit?
Please read the following statements.
- I am ready to quit smoking now
- My health is not as good as it could be if I did not smoke
- The cost to break this habit is not an issue; I know when I quit the money will quickly be recovered.
- My family, friends, coworkers wish I would quit.
- I can find better things to do with the money I now spend on smoking.
- I agree whole-heartedly when others suggest that I quit, but it seems beyond my control.
- Because of the social stigma smoking may be slowing my climb up the ladder of success.
If you are in agreement with the above statements, you are well on your way! If you disagree you may have some internal resistance.
Perhaps there is a ‘part of you’ that really wants to quit, but another "part of you” that doesn’t. This internal conflict is quite common.
The Creative Toolbox of Hypnosis and NLP offers useful tools to resolve this conflict, and release resistance. By now, if you are still reading, you are already moving in the direction to take that first step and schedule an appointment to become a non-smoker for life!
FACTS About Smoking Cigarettes:
- Smokers express a fear they will ‘get fat’ if they quit smoking. This is a common ‘belief’ but not a ‘fact’. You do not have to gain weight when you become a non-smoker. We can offer suggestion through hypnosis to counter this programmed belief.
- Smokers often feel that smoking cigarettes helps them relax.
- The fact is, the first drag on a cigarette increases a smoker’s heart rate by ten beats per minute!
- Smoking also increases your blood pressure.
- Smoking is not physically relaxing. However, the ‘breathing’ associated with smoking…taking the time to inhale…and exhale…slowly….is relaxing.
(By the way, hypnosis is also very relaxing.)
- When the smoke from a cigarette enters a smoker’s throat, nose and lungs, it irritates and destroys the tissues of those areas, predisposing that smoker to cancer of those areas.
- As that smoke continues to the lungs, it irritates the tissues of the lungs, predisposing that smoker to lung cancer and emphysema.
As that smoke enters the bloodstream, displacing the oxygen from the blood and replacing it with carbon monoxide with sulfur, with tar, with nicotine, with arsenic, with cyanide, as the blood flows through the body it predisposes that smoker to getting cancer ANYwhere in the body: liver, intestines, bladder, kidney.
- As that smoke continues in the bloodstream, and into the arteries, and into the heart, it predisposes that smoker to having a stroke or heart attack.
- Smoking makes your breath stink!
- And your clothes too! And your car! And your house!
- Smoking makes your mouth feel like sandpaper!
- Smoking is incredibly expensive!
- A pack of cigarettes costs more than a gallon of gas!
- 1 out of every 2 smokers will die from smoking related causes.
YOU can become a non-smoker for the rest of your life.
